Saturday 22nd September 2018
10am til 3pm
Venue: Red 11, 2 Morton Street, Auckland Central

There is a demand for Te Reo Māori speaking actors for film and television work. If acting is your passion and you’ve attended many auditions but can’t quite nail them, then this is the workshop for you.
Christina Asher is a Documentary Director, Producer and Actress with over thirty years experience as a Casting Director for Digital media, film, television drama and TVC’s. Joining Christina is Hōri Ahipene, Actor, Director, award winning Playwright and Film acting coach.
Together they will provide you with tools that can improve your performance at every audition.
Many actors fall into the average plane focus on acting for camera and will help you understand how to lift your performance above the average.
Class numbers are limited, with preference given to rangatahi with some Te Reo Māori although we have places for non Māori speakers also.
This will be a positive and constructive experience.
Free and available only to members of Ngā Aho Whakaari.
$30 for non members and lunch is provided.
To join and/or to register email: by midday, Thursday 20th September. You will be contacted Thursday afternoon for confirmation of your placement.
